When you write, please include your iOS version (your iPhone's Settings → General → About), the app version (your iPhone's Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Backbrain) and a short description of what you expected to happen versus what actually happened. Screenshots are gold.

Quick fixes for common issues

I'm not getting notifications. Check Settings → Notifications → Backbrain on your phone. Notifications must be allowed for the daily reminder to fire.

My partner is not getting alerts. Make sure your partner has notification permission granted on their device. Both ends need it.

I want a refund. Refunds for App Store subscriptions are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support.

I lost my pairing code. Codes expire 24 hours after creation and are one-time use. Just generate a new one.

Do I need to sign in? No. Backbrain works fully anonymous on the device. Apple Sign-In is offered only if you want to recover your partnerships on a new device.

What happens if I sign out? Your medications and dose history stay on the device. Signing out only disconnects your Apple identity from this install. To wipe everything, use Settings → Profile → Delete account.

I got a new phone. How do I bring my data across? If your old phone had iCloud Backup enabled, restore the new phone from your iCloud Backup and Backbrain's data comes across. To restore your subscription, tap Restore Purchases on the paywall while signed into the same Apple ID. To recover your existing partnerships, sign in with Apple again from Settings → Profile.
